Lions Gate Realty is a real estate and vacation rental platform based in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. For privacy purposes, we are the "data controller" — we decide how and why your personal information is collected and used.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
When you make a confirmed booking, we share your name, email, phone number, and booking details with the Host so they can coordinate check-in. We do not share your payment details with Hosts.
Hosts' listing contact details are visible to Guests who make inquiries or bookings.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lions Gate Realty, our users, or the public.
If Lions Gate Realty is sold or merged, your information may be transferred as a business asset. We will notify affected users by email before any such transfer.

After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized. To request early deletion of your account, email info@lionsgaterealty.ca. Note that booking records required for tax compliance cannot be deleted early.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we discover a data breach that poses a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by PIPEDA.

Our platform is not directed at individuals under 19 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately and we will delete the account.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will post the updated policy here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify registered users by email at least 14 days in advance.
